Backup and Storage Overview

Two of the most important elements of any IT infrastructure are file storage and the archiving and backup of those files. From traditional spinning disks to SSD drives and flash memory, data storage has advanced exponentially in recent years. Backups have changed as well, whether you archive single files to a USB drive, store hundreds of them in a cloud service like DropBox, or protect millions of them using products like Microsoft Data Protection Manager or Symantec Veritas Storage Foundation.
