Daniel Petri is a world-known IT professional, technical trainer and creator of one of the world's largest IT knowledge bases – www.petri.co.il. Daniel consults to leading global Fortune 1000 companies in Microsoft IT Infrastructure and Engineering strategies.

For his contribution to the IT Pro community Daniel has received the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award for the 6th time In a row.

He is one of a few select worldwide Windows Server System - Exchange Server MVPs, and currently the only one to hold this award from Israel.

Daniel was given the position of leader for Israel's Unified Communication User Group. With Daniel's lead, this UG will focus on the upcoming Exchange Server 2010, preparing Israel's IT Pros for the launch event. During the UG's meetings, new sessions will be presented, and round table ask-the-experts events will take place.

Daniel's professional certifications include Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Microsoft Certified System Administrator and Microsoft Certified Trainer.

After spending over 11 years of training hundreds of students and IT professionals, Daniel was nominated by Microsoft to spearhead the Windows Server 2008 training in Israel, giving many first-time lectures on the topic and training other trainers and Microsoft certified partners. Daniel was also in charge of Microsoft's Rapid Deployment Project for Windows Server 2008, gaining important knowledge on the subject.

Daniel currently works as VP Technologies for ObserveIT, a company with an innovative product that allows recording and auditing of Terminal server, RDP and Citrix sessions.
