Restoring from NTBackup
We need to restore data from a DDS2 tape that was created using ntbackup 0n a Windows 2000 server, the server no longer exists. I have access to a 2003 server with a DDS2 drive but the tapes are not in the ntbackup catalog on this system. How can I get the Windows 2003 system to read the tapes?

Oh my, it's been a long time since I've had to do this...
On the restore and manage media tab can you see the tape in question? If so you should be able to right-click it and catalog it. If you don't see the tape then check Removable Media Manager to make sure the system recognizes the tape.
