Installing two network cards in a single pc
Hello,
I have installed two network cards in a single pc and there are different IPs on both the network cards. Now the problem is that many times one of the network cards does not respond at all while the other just works fine. I tried to replace the new card, but the problem persists. Sometimes both the NIC cards work fine, but the problem reappears. Does anybody know what could be the reason for the problem and the solution to it? |

What OS do you have installed on your PC? Is it on 64bits?
Try to uninstall the NICs from Device Manger, restart your PC or Scan for Hardware changes and let the system the reinstall them. You can also update the drivers.

are the IPs dhcp assigned or manually configured?
are there error messages in the eventlog? what does the ipconfig -all output look like? |
