Xen Server 5.6 test machine different network
Hello
We have just installed Xen server 5.6 on a 64bit machine very good. We have used xen converter to convert vm machines to xen serve machines. The question i would like to test sharepoint but i don't what it on our network. How do i change the ipaddress we use 192.168.1.1. Do i just install a netwok adpater say 10.10.20.5 something like that? |

so you want the ip address of the Sharepoint guest server, to be different to what your network normally is, am I correct ?
If so, then you simply change the address of the guest server. The Xen host should just have a standard IP Address. This is where the virtualisation layer comes in..

Cheers for that just double Checking
On the xen server installed windows 2003 ip 192.168.1.19 on network1 do i delete this then just add a new interface? |

yea, pretty much.
I assume Xen is much th same as ESX or HyperV... ?
