Hi,
We have used recovery group in the past without any problem. For some reason now, when I try to use one, NT backup fails to restore 1 second into running. I've check the registry and the value Recovery SG Override is not there. The NT log is trying to restore to the default group "Our Storage Group", rather the recovery one. I noticed in the registry there is a REG_DWORD "DB Recovery" set to 0. What is this for? Could this be causing the error? NTBackup log gives error 8019 and 8003. Thanks for your help |

Delete the RSG.
Ensure that allow overwrite by recovery (or whatever the setting is) is not enabled on the live RSG. Restart the information store service. Recreate the RSG. Simon.
