Default caused by IP checksum offload

Hi Everyone,

One of my desktops is causing SNMP request to a network switch. I ran wireshark and found error "caused by IP checksum offload". The machine is a Lenovo x300,wind7 32bit.

I tried the following:
*upgraded NIC drivers
*disabling checksum offloading on the network card.

error:Authentication failure for SNMP req from host

Any thoughts?

seems like something ON the win7 host is sending snmp traps, and is not configured correctly.

You need to find out what's sending those traps, and either stop it, or configure it correctly

Yeah, I am trying to figure out the root cause and don't have a resolution yet.

I'm also wondering if someone has configured SNMP wrong somewhere and it is trying to access your machine rather than your machine doing it

***EDIT***

Another thought would be to turn off the SNMP service on the machine and see if that clears up the errors.
