Greetings!
I have a domain controller on Windows 2008 Server (x32). Today I connected an external USB drive to backup some data, but was unable to write. Next I found out, that impossible to write to any usb device. But a month ago I successfully copied data to usb device without any problems. First of all I checked the GPO for deny write policies. I found them at default domain policies. Disabled them then rebooted. No change, write is denied. Gpresult /h and rsop are clear for deny policies. I've also checked usbstor registry keys - everything like it shoud be. I also tried to google and checked variou of methods to deny write - no effect. No extra security software is installed. Even no antivirus. Any suggestions? |
