I have one user (User-R) who receives his email just fine - so long as the sender is either:
* external to the company * internal, but using Outlook However, if the sender is an internal user (let's call him User-S) attempts to send a message to User-R using the OWA, the following bounce is generated: Code:
Diagnostic information for administrators: Generating server: my.exchange.server.com IMCEAEX-_O=DOMAIN_OU=EXCHANGE+20ADMINISTRATIVE+20GROUP+20+28FYDIBOHF23SPDLT+29_CN=RECIPIENTS_CN=Firstname+20Lastname@myserver.com #550 5.1.1 RESOLVER.ADR.ExRecipNotFound; not found ## Other tidbit factoids: Any other user can use OWA to send email to any other internal user (including User-S). In other words, ONLY email sent to User-R (via OWA) is generating this bounce. It would seem to me that this has to be an issue with the Global AddressBook of some sort. But danged if I know what it is. |

No rules in place (either user or hub transport)?

Nope.
This sentence added because simply replying with "nope" is shorter than the minimum 10 characters required by this board. |

I DO have more information now - the bounce seems to occur only if the sender has sent the recipient email in the past.
I have a dummy user I use for testing. When using the dummy account, if I pick the user from the auto-complete, I still get the bounce. However, if I (using the dummy account) completely type out the recipient's email address, the message is delivered properly. Typing out the email address completely from my normal account generates the bounce. Note that the email address displayed in the auto-complete IS correct... |

SOLUTION FOUND!!!
I ran across this suggestion on another board. Sharing here. - open adsiedit - get the properties of the user - check the LegacyExchange value and compared it with mine. * Mine had "CN=Chris Barnes" at the end * His had "CN=FL Test" at the end Fixed his name and presto - everything now works! |
