Default unable to open any antivirus or microsoft website
unable to open any antivirus or microsoft website . while i am useing Win xp sp2 & McAfee antivirus 8.7i Enterprise. How to solve it. Plz. help me

It could be a symptom of a virus -- I suggest you (on another PC) download a standalone AV scanner such as McAfee Stinger and run that from a bootable CD or floppy, then report back

I have also encountered this issue before
It is def a virus thats causing it

I had to reload my laptop in order to fix the issue, but try the other suggestions first

General process before attempting windows reinstall:

Download MalWareBytes and burn to CD (on clean PC)
Ditto McAfee Stinger
Ditto any other products recommended here

Boot infected PC into safe mode (F8 at start)
Install / run both above

Report back

If it is a persistent version then even in Safe Mode you may not be able to install MalwareBytes or any A/V. A bootable USB or CD with Stinger and/or another anti virus installed on it may be an option to clean the HDD. You could also remove the HDD and connect it to another machine and run A/V on the infected HDD from it.

If you can find out what is causing this problem (name of virus) then you will probably find steps online on how to manually clean your machine.
