Default Home folders and logon script

Win 2k8 R2 Standard, 64 bit, remote server.

1. I would like for my remote users to be able to view/use their my document folder while they are on the remote server.

2. How can I allow for the logon script to run when users log on the remote server?

I tried running the script but some network drives don't show and I get the error of "not enough server storage"

I did modify the registry and rebooted the server and then I was able to view all my network drives, but after a few days the drives have gone away.

Hi,
Please use group policy preferences or Specify a home folder for a terminal server:

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl....aspx?id=24449

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/816313

* The error that users get during using the logon script cause due the fact that for mapping network drive by using logon script, the users should be a local administrator on the server.

Default Re: Home folders and logon script

we already use "home folder" for all users and the log on script runs when a user logs on his/her laptop/pc.

what I want to happen is to have the users view their home folder (which is the my docs folder) when they log on the remote server & for the logon script to run as well.

it worked just perfectly with win2k3 remote server but not on the new win2k8 server...

So use the correct method to map drive.... and thats all... Also, moving from Windows 2003 to 2008 R2 require to re-check the GPO settings before moving to production.
