Hey gang,
I have a Windows 2003 standard server (sp1) that is hosting our OPS domain. We are in the process of adding two other Windows 2003 enterprise server DCs to it. The one that another tech added in London (server 1) went lickedy-split. No problems! The one I'm responsible for (server 2) threw the attached error. Now I've seen in these forums about running adprep.exe /forestprep command from the Windows Server 2003 R2 installation disk 2 on the schema master. However, we're a little hesitant to do this since server 1 became a DC no problem, and only server 2 is having an issue. Hoping someone can point me to some specific things to check and see what server 2 isn't playing nicely and becoming a DC like it should. Thanks, Brian |
