Is there a way to know what the hardware specs of the Hyper-V host sits on?

Apart from a physical inspection?
Processor speed will be passed directly into the VM but AFAIK nothing else is You could try some of the WMI based scripts here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libr...(v=vs.85).aspx
