Default Svchost and netapi.dll causing computer browser service to stop

Dear All,

I'm getting crazy with a windows server 2003 R2 x64 standard here. This server has a folder accessed by a lot of users, and I have this error coming up very very often, causing computer browser service, and server service to stop. This is very bad since, after these 2 services are stopped, users cannot access the share anymore ! Worst, scheduler service is also off (Made a scheduled task to run a script to start the 2 above services every 10 minutes), and cannot run any scheduled task ! I tried to install the KB932762 as advised by technet, still the same. Launched 3 different AntiVirus / antimalware, nothing found.

Can you guys help ? Find below the event of the error :

The second entry you provide names a queue error of some kind. Whether that refers to RAM, CPU, HDD or Network isn't entirely clear, but it sounds like you've got a performance bottleneck somewhere.

Check your hard drive settings and capacity, check your network connections, start using Performance Monitor to give you an idea of how well your RAM and hard drive accesses are doing.

Something's sick.

Is your system up to date patch wise??

Any recent patches installed??

Does the system lose network connectivity when this error occurs??

Tried updating your netowrk card drivers??

Hi, found the solution after a week getting crazy. The server is a VM running on VMware ESXi. I just changed the type of the vNIC from E1000 to VMXNET 3 and VOILA !

Thanks anyway.
