Talking Diffrence between Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2012

Hello,

Is there is any difference between Windows 2008 and Windows 2012?

I mean main points and If Windows 2012 is similar then win 2012 can replace 2008?

IMHO you should be very careful about a new server OS until it has been out for several months (a good rule of thumb is "wait for SP1") and given the controversy over the Windows 8 desktop OS, the server one may not have a long and happy life.
