Thanks for the replies, i did find a host of free tools to update drivers,
however this machine in question just blue screens and reboots if i try updating any drivers, also its missing sp1 and cant apply it.
I think that im just going to ask them to send it me so i can physically take a look, will be much easier.


The (free version) tool i found (and will use in future) for updating drivers is
drivereasy
(just posting my findings for the good of the community)
