Hello,
Recently on our Windows Server 2008 R2 file server (Enterprise Edition) we have been experiencing intermittent networking issues. What happens is that people will access files/etc. on the file server and generally speaking they can connect without issues but at random moments the connections will disconnect and then reconnect. I note no error messages on the event viewer on the File Server that is even close to the problem at hand so I am at a lost. where can I start in troubleshooting this intermittent connectivity? Thank you for your time. Try updating your nic drivers

The NIC is listed as an MS Virtual one so is this the only server with issues? What about the host?
Why is this file server on DHCP as well? Maybe you're getting conflicts? Do the event logs show anything?
