Hi, I wonder if someone can help me out. I have a terminal server that takes me 15 minutes to login and 9 minutes to logout, when doing remote access (remote desktop, inside network). BUT instantaneous login in directly from the console. There is nothing unusual on the event logs. Lots of power lots of space. lots of speed. Lots of mem.

There is lots of issues like:

1. Roaming profiles.
2. Folder redirection.
3. Antivirus.
4. Low internet connection.
5. Server isnt up to data:

I had this problem a few months ago when users were connecting to a server that was offsite. We were using TS profiles and the users Desktop folders were huge. And since we were using Folder Redirection this was solved by placing their enormous desktop files into their My Documents folder then creating shorcuts and placing those shortcuts on their desktop. Just have to make sure they don't store EVERYTHING on their desktop. I know, easier said than done!
