Assuming I have 4 application servers running in the TS mode and one user has to connect to these 4 different servers running different applications then will I need 1(user) * 4(TS) licenses or will 1 User TS CAL suffice ?

Hi Raj,
how many users u got in ur org ? wot i think is per server lis. would b ecnomical choice for u. u got less server (4) then users (?). Usually in the senarios where ur users are more than ur server then per server lis. is best choise. I m not sure other guys will recomend this thing or not |

Hi Biggle,
I m sorry if my English is hard to understand. Itz true English is not my first language. What I posted before now I am trying to put without using abrivation. I advised Raj that how many users he has in his organisation ? what I think is for you per server license would be ecnomical choice as you said you have four servers hosting application . What my expereince is in the situations where number of users are more than number of servers hosting applications then per server license is best choise. Some guys may have different opanion then me. Biggle, I hope you would be able to understand. |
