No Display after adding PCI video card
I have two Dell 1800 servers w/ onboard video, I want dual monitor functionality and am trying to add another PCI video card.
As soon as I put the card in, and turn them on, I get no video out of any connector. I have tried disabling the onboard and still no go. It seems that signal is getting to the monitors because the power button on the monitors stays amber and no self test on any of the screens. I have a feeling it is an IRQ problem, but I can't put my finger on it. Thank you for your help. Marc

Believe it or not, IIRC, this is by design.
But you may be able to buy a slot converter and get it working. Have a read: http://forums.us.dell.com/supportfor...cending&page=1
