Default My server is not listed in neighbourhood

Hello

Just now I finished the installation of a Win2000 server. Currently I put it in an existing workgroup. But it is unable to show any other PCs in the network. Sameway this machine is also not displayed in other mahines neighbourhood network. But it is in network, because I am able to ping it from outside. Can u suggest me a solution for this?

HOW can I join this server as a part of a Domain. I want this to work as a member server in a Domain.

Can anyone help me in this?

thanks

jm

First, you need to read some stuff before posting questions like these. Others would call it RTFM, I just call it UGBYP.

(Use Google Before You Post)

Now, there are some nice articles about installing AD on W2K/2003 on my site, and also some nice stuff about joining computers to a domain. Read them, and if you have any questions, do come back.
