Establish Trust prior to domains being able to see each other
I have one day to physically move a company to another building and then establish a trust with a domain that is already in that building. I really want to have everything on the network ready before that day.
What is the best way to do this? Is it possible to stand up a DC in the current location, move just that DC to the new location and establish a trust that way? Thank you, Marc

You would be better served moving everything then creating the trust, the actual creation of the trust doesn't take but more then 5 minutes + replication time.

Thank you for your quick response. I guess since I haven't done it before, I would like a little time to make sure it works. I guess I could just create another domain and run through the steps a couple times.

It is very simple, I do not see that you would have any problems with it. If you feel uncomfortable go to your local book store and pick up a book on active directory.
