Hi all,
I have reinstalled all Citrix Presentation Server software. I left all to default values. However I could not launch published application externally. Let me briefly explain how I configure the Citrix WI I never install Secure Gateway. I have a Fortigate Firewall. I do NAT from Public IP to Internal IP.I open port for HTTP, HTTPS & port 1494 1. Citrix server name: citrix01 2. Citrix01 internal IP: 192.168.1.18 3. Public IP: 202.100.80.101 3. IIS Port: 80 4. Citrix XML Service TCP/IP: Sharing with IIS On Access Suite Console, I changed the following: 1. Highlight the created site. Click Manage secure client access -> Edit DMZ Settings -> Change Default to Translated as access method 2. Highlight the created site. Click Manage secure client access -> Edit Address Translation -> Add a new record as below: Access Type: Client route translation Internal IP: 192.168.1.18 Port: 80 External IP: 202.100.80.101 Port: 80 Is this a correct way to configure? Lastly, I also want to access Citrix WI via HTTPS. This is saved launch.ica file Encoding InputEncoding=ISO8859_1 WFClient ClientName=WI_wj19k3mRZIgwQjyu6 ProxyFavorIEConnectionSetting=Yes ProxyTimeout=30000 ProxyType=Auto ProxyUseFQDN=Off RemoveICAFile=yes TransparentKeyPassthrough=Local TransportReconnectEnabled=On Version=2 VirtualCOMPortEmulation=Off ApplicationServers Notepad= Notepad Address=192.168.1.18:1494 AudioBandwidthLimit=2 AutologonAllowed=ON CGPAddress=*:2598 ClearPassword=DC777DFA380181 ClientAudio=On DesiredColor=4 DesiredHRES=800 DesiredVRES=600 Domain=\C01E21564A2C9545 InitialProgram=#Notepad Launcher=WI LongCommandLine= ProxyTimeout=30000 ProxyType=Auto SSLEnable=Off SessionsharingKey=4-basic-basic-mydomain-myusername-myfarm TWIMode=On TransportDriver=TCP/IP Username=tonyying WinStationDriver=ICA 3.0 Compress DriverNameWin16=pdcompw.dll DriverNameWin32=pdcompn.dll EncRC5-0 DriverNameWin16=pdc0w.dll DriverNameWin32=pdc0n.dll EncRC5-128 DriverNameWin16=pdc128w.dll DriverNameWin32=pdc128n.dll EncRC5-40 DriverNameWin16=pdc40w.dll DriverNameWin32=pdc40n.dll EncRC5-56 DriverNameWin16=pdc56w.dll DriverNameWin32=pdc56n.dll Please assist and urgently need a solution..thank you!! |

Hi,
You need to use HTTP and not HTTPS due the fact that you didnt enable SSL. If you like to enable SSL, you will need to install a certificate on the SSL Gateway and verify that root CA is trusted by the Citrix system. Also, Citrix provide a nice installation guide for his products. In the future, please avoid from posting a real passwords etc. on the web.
