Hi all,
I have a few questions about features in Win Server 2008. -Does server 2008 (any edition) log inbound traffic from the remote server? (I know win 2003 didn't...only outbound). If so, which log files, where are they located, what specific information is logged? -Does server 2008 log outbound RAS connections? -What information is logged with RAS connections? Source IP address? date and time of connection? Destination IP/URL? -Does server 2008 make a link between the source address (client) to the outbound address (internet system)? Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thank you |

I would research NPS in windows 2008 server. I believe that replaces RAS and Radius functionality from Windows 2003. I don't know an answer to your questions without carrying out further research, which would be more beneficial to yourself.
