Question ESXi iSCSI Solution

Hey

Im looking to upgrade our VMware ESXi 4.0 Infrastructure from our HP Proliant DL580 with internal SAS Drives to a SAN solution using maybe iSCSI.

i was looking at http://uk.insight.com/apps/productpr...3Dphl%26P%3D23

I am a bit of a Newbian when it comes to SAN.

We will running about 6-10 VM's Production Servers, Windows File Server, LAMP Server and some other servers.

I was wondering what Exchange 2007 runs like on VM's with iSCSI storage?

I have a £5,000 budget.

Im really looking for some "Pro" advice really.

Thanks

you can get some more information here

Regarding iscsi storage solutions - I would also look into Equallogic (Dell) IBM and (lower-end) Iomega

Will this be one server connecting to the SAN?

For now 1 server will be connected to the SAN, untill i setup ESXi on our DL380 G5, which will be very soon.

Thanks for your reply.
