My Scenario.. is like this

I have 2 xchange 2000 servers in Windows 2000 domain env. Xchg2k-A is configured as the Front End server and Xchg2k-B is configured as Back end server.

Now I upgrade the Xchg2k-A (FE) to Exchange 2003 following the procedures as below:-

netdiag
/forestprep
/domainprep
setup
Upgrade is successful... and now I do a fresh install of exchange 2k3 on a new hardware and name it Xchg2k3 in the same domain and in the same Org.

The same steps of installing exchange 2k3 is followed and is successfully installed.

Now I create two MBX on the new Xchange server ie Xchg2k3.

When I try sending a mail from MBX on Xchg2k3 to MBX on Xcng2k the mail flow doesnt happen.

Its getting stuck in the queue... and not getting delivered to respective MBX. where mail flow between local MBX on the same servers happens..

Do I need to add any SMTP connectors between them ? How Can I resolve this issue

you try send in to out ?
are the EX2003 in the same site ?
did you check that the new EX 2003 is in the routing group ?
did you update you MX records for the new EX ?
give as more info about the network
