Question placing vplogon.bat default user profile policy under group policy win2003 server

Dear All,
I'm trying to find the best path to put my vplogon.bat file under group policy on win2003 server so that when my users logon and everytime my symantec enterprise antivirus updates its virus definitions my users will automatically be updated. At the moment vplogon.bat doesnt open the command popup window and install/update the antivirus definitions. It used to work fine when I put the vplogon.bat in each users profile in the active directory!
Please help!
Thanks,
Gila

What bad in \\dcname\netlogon share? It would replicate to all others DC's so you only need to add it as user profile logon script.
You can review Symantec manuals for farther assistance.

Regards,

Yuval

Symantec recommends to place the path in the users profile when you set up the user. Also, you can set up the Symantec System Center on either a server or a workstation. From there you cna manage all of your AV servers and workstations assigned under those servers. Works nicely, I also use it to find out user IP addresses using the 'find computer/audit network' tools.
