I am putting together my Disaster Recovery Site and had a question on the Licensing for cisco Routers.
The router I currently use is a Cisco ASA 5510, we have purchased a few upgrades to the license (Addtional SSL VPN Licenses, etc). I want to have a backup device up and ready to install and was wondering if I could buy a base line ASA 5510 and then backup the primary and restore to the new one. I know there is a fine line here, but my goal is DR and I am trying to determine what would be required if my primary Router failed. Thanks, Hobie |

have a chat to cisco licensing. Although if you're doing it just to test, and you only have one device running at a time, then by rights you're not reallllly violating license agreements...
