Default server nic properties
If I am running WINS and dns then on a new member server do I need to enable netbios over tcp for the nic properties?
Or is that more for clients?

If the clients are all windows 2k/xp then you can disable netbios.
it also speed up the network while the broadcast for searching computers and shares, are disabled.

Thanks, so disable netbios but you mention disable browsing over the network.
I know i can't take out wins so what else can I do to speed up browsing?
