Hi,

recently I begun having troubles with gp. My lack of experience toold me that I could sove this problems by deleting my custom policies and rebuilding them again...but it did'nt work. Next step was to leave only the default domanin policy and default domanin controllers policy but I still had problems. Afther that I back up the default domani policy on one DC and restore it on another but that didn't solve the problem either so I run dcgpofix on all 3 DC's (didn't know if it was necessary on all 3...) as is supposed to restore the default policies.. but when I run gpotool /verbose I get this:

Errors found

SYSVOL is accesible from everywhere, I don't have replication problems (So I believe) but I still get these version mismatch errors. How should I tackle this problem ? and what I shouldn't have done ?

I'll provide any necesary information if needed.

SOLVED! I hope it will help others with similar problems.

Here is what I did:
I've noticed on file replication logs from extreme.rbu.local the following (it wasn't there untill now):

The File Replication Service has detected that the replica set "DOMAIN SYSTEM VOLUME (SYSVOL SHARE)" is in JRNL_WRAP_ERROR. 
 
 Replica set name is    : "DOMAIN SYSTEM VOLUME (SYSVOL SHARE)" 
 Replica root path is   : "d:\ad\sysvol\domain" 
 Replica root volume is : "\\.\D:" 
  A Replica set hits JRNL_WRAP_ERROR when the record that it is trying to read from the NTFS USN journal is not found.

I followed the advice on that message and added "Enable Journal Wrap Automatic Restore" to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\NtFrs\Parameters
with DWORD value of 1.(don't forget to set it back to 0 after that)
I stopped and started ntfrs service.
After that replication occured succesfully but there was a difference between GPO DS version and GPO SYSVOL version. Next step was an dcgpofix and after that gpotool showed what I wanted to see
