Hello guys,
I am currently facing with strange OWA issue. Exchange server configured on SBS 2003. Windows 2003 and Exchange 2003 have the latest SPs and updates. Connecting to OWA (https://mail.clientdomain.com/exchange) the form based authentication page is opened, the user provides its credential and he get a strange web page (see my attachment). The IT guy, who administers this server, installed and configured SQL 2000 on this SBS before the issue started. I rebuilt OWA, restored IIS metabase but the result is the same. Does somebody have a good point? Thanks.

First, did you use the SBS Internet Connection wizard the settings?
Also, did you checked if the sys admin change the regional settings and if this problem occur to all the users? Did you tried just to reboot the server and find errors in the event log? Did the SQL 2000 installation includes Nortifications/Reports service + installation of SP4? |

yuval14,
Why is the Internet connection wizard relevant? Excepting the OWA issue the messaging system is working fine. the regional settings was not changed. The event log dosn't contains exchange related errors. I think the SQL has SP 4.

Any change to the server for regular tasks should be done by using SBS wizards.
Also, did you apply Exchange 2003 SP1 and then Exchange 2003 SP2? (If not, this may create this problem) - The Program Files\Exchsrvr\exchweb may contain some files that didnt update from SP2 (SP2 doesnt upgrade some file so you will need to apply SP1, and then SP2 or backup Program Files\Exchsrvr\exchweb and overwrite it with fiels from Exchange 2003 SP2 server that was upgrade to SP1->SP2). http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=280823 |
