Hello,
I am trying to export data from our shipping system into a text file. In order to do so the software forces you to use a template. The sample template is a simple text file with fields like this <CUSTOMER>,<TRACK_NO>,<WEIGHT>,<ZIP> I created one with the fields that I want, and I am able to export the data that I need. Problem is it comes over in a big mess. I would like the line to be as long as the fields, then go to the next line. example.... Mr. Jones 123456789 15 03102 Mr. Mike 123456788 12 90210 I tried <BR>, </P> </> nothing makes the line end. What is the tag to force a new line? |

Great question, For some reason the shipping software only allows you to use a .txt file as a template. It is stupid, but I figured I could export to text file, then import into excel, but I can't get it to export into columns, or just break the line at a specific point. I will have to contact the vendor, I just thought someone here might know what command or tag would do that.
