When I click on a URL in an e-mail message, the Web page opens up in whatever IE window I was most recently using. Can I make it open in a new IE window?
Vista's performance can be improved dramatically by installing the latest Vista-Certified hardware drivers. PC hardware manufacturers release new, improved Vista drivers continually: New versions are probably available for your PC right now.

"When I click on a URL in an e-mail message, the Web page opens up in whatever IE window I was most recently using. This is annoying, because it takes me away from a page that I may not be ready to leave. Can I stop this behavior and make the URL link open in a new IE window?"
Yes you can. In Internet Explorer 6 and above an option exists to help you eliminate this annoying problem.
-
Open an Internet Explorer window.
-
Go to Tools, Internet Options > Advanced.
-
Uncheck the Reuse windows for launching shortcuts option.
Done!
